I went out painting with the SGVA which meets twice a month to paint outside (plein air). It was so fun to get out and socialize with other artist while painting.
I really wanted to focus on being more loose with my painting and not be so focused on all the little details, I also wanted to capture the light by making sure to leave the white of the paper.
My Setup
Here is my plein air setup. The design was inspired by Stephen Berry over at seamlessexpression.com (whose blog is very good). My setup is constantly evolving.
